I started my 1st official day of work!!!
heh heh jingyu and eve wen to peng chang todae, as in pei wo qu... todae not veh good loh, i had omens that it wun be so smooth todae... firstly my horoscope says i'll make mistakes in counting and bills veh easily... and then todae in the morning the sky was super duper dark... lucky i wen out dat time no rain...
met eve on the train and jingyu at the cityhall station... i was half exctied half scared... then wen we reach suntec, we got lost! nono is me! omg i brought them walking ard and ard but end up not finding the building at all, in the end had to ask pple can =( was i late? hmm can't remember...
anyway wen i reached there they ask me for my t shirt size and told me to change... there is like super small la, as in the kitchen inside, then the toilet is so super far, they point point a bit nvr even show me the exact way expect me to know it already how nice...
after dat one of the manager briefed me about the menu, walao damn long ah! all the deserts, main course, classics blah blah got a lot can! anyway they gaf me a pick up chart, wif all the names and photos of the food and how it is served (like with fork or spoon or chopsitcks) i was told that i wund hafta take order first jus serve (like duh right i noe NONE of their menu at all perhaps only some of the names of the cakes?)
okae so they roughly told me here and there, like spoon where, fork where, where to clear dish blah blah... oh and my first serve was this female pair (they know how to speak jap i tink! cus i heard them speak a bit) they were veh nice larh so still okae, i was serving them coffee i tink... no is tea! ohoh and diff drinks much take diff things, like tea much get a plate wif a cup and a teaspoon. cold drinks jus one of the u know the to put on the bottom so it wun get wet wan, anyway i fergot wad it is called, and a straw... common sense but sometimes its easy to forget. oh and if soft drinks or the beer need pour for them.
the training not like training la, basically a lot of the things is i notice myself and follow wad they do de can. as in things like how to place the fork and spoon (u noe like on the right side of the person) and like how to take the tray. (i carried wif two hands at first then they told me to change to one.) omg as in they expect you to know all that! a lot is after i do wrongly then they correct de. hmpf. and the manager teaching me like veh fierce, no la as in, wadever i wrong they will teach me after dat, but then like not veh friendly loh only got this trainee, and the others like treat her super nice... cus a lot of them are foreigners, like malaysians, or pple from china and indonesia... then i from sg they like super depise =(
hmm so still okae la, im working again on wed, thur and fri... fri night shift. heard from ky that night shift lesser pple leh, unfair, my shift de lunch time hour damn lot of pple! full house can! grrr. anyway got homework to do already... memorise all the diff names and how to serve and blah blah. i bet they expect me to remember them all in a very short time (like by wed probably?) and wth they haf so weird and farnie names for their dishes when it can haf a much simpler name. some i dun even noe how to pronounce =.=
tmr is stay-at-home-and-memorise-your-pick-up-chart day. damn it. i hope i can remember. plus all the photos are like in blakc and white. how nice.
die im like complaining so much already on my first day of work... still got a long way to go! T.T im not dreading it la, its quite fun actually... really! its like playing this online game which i always do u noe dinner dash? cus u always do the same things over and over again. jus feeling a little stressed, cus veh scared make mistakes, u shud see the pple especially the ladies working in the building that kind, they gif u a face like u owe them big time. really! one dun even look at me can, like i'm her servant. okae i am, in a way... but wth like i care, wad i care is dat i serve wif my bes attitude. whether u notice or even appreciate it or not, its none of my business. =)
oh and i wen eve house after dat... bought cup noodles plus starbucks coffee (omg i so missed dat!) to go her house eat... we watched a lot of videos sia! and ft island de wan yuan xingfu... walao every one of them so cute! all bl de liao! oops. anyway eve got this fwen super support bl de... somemore oso in sg cafe! omg eve u shud haf told me so much earlier! hmpf! anyway i got her email! she like got a lot of bl stuff! as in drama and anime! omg! hahah zuan dao le heh heh...
okae... i feel like going to sleep now though i dun feel tired... probably cus i nth to do and tmr got things to do... ehh the memorising thing... haix...
